Sunpower, Inc. Celebrates 35 Years and Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

July 2009 marks the 35th anniversary of Sunpower, Inc. Sunpower was originally incorporated in 1974 by its founder William Beale, inventor of the free-piston Stirling engine.
