Tetra Tech Awarded Design-Build Contract with the U.S. Navy

Defense News ~ PASADENA, Calif.--January 27, 2010, (BUSINESS WIRE)--Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK - News) announced today that it is one of five firms awarded a $750 million contract to provide design-build services for large construction projects for the U.S. Navy. The majority of the work will be performed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The period of performance for this firm fixed-price contract is one base year with four one-year options, and the five awardees will share the total contract value.
“This is a new contract vehicle that will expand our range of services to the U.S. Navy, one of our largest clients,” said Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech’s Chairman and CEO.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington anticipates that this contract will be used for construction projects ranging in size from approximately $10 million to $30 million per task order.

Tetra Tech Awarded $200 Million FAA Navigation Technical Assistance Contract

PASADENA, Calif.--January 5, 2010, (BUSINESS WIRE)--Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEK - News) announced today that it has been awarded the $200 million Navigation Technical Assistance Contract (NAVTAC) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Tetra Tech will provide engineering and technical support services for the planning, research, development, implementation, sustainment, and decommissioning of FAA’s navigation, landing, and lighting systems. Tetra Tech will also help the FAA transition to an integrated ground- and space-based navigation systems architecture and will support the FAA’s modernization initiatives, including its Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) effort.
Tetra Tech currently serves as program manager for the FAA Air Traffic Organization’s Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC) and has helped the FAA deploy satellite navigation technologies under NAVTAC predecessor contracts held since 1998. The period of performance for this new, single-award contract is two years, with five one-year option periods. The initial contract award is $70 million; if all options are exercised, the contract value could exceed $200 million.

Tetra Tech Team Wins Global Multiple-Award Construction Contract with the U.S. Navy

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK - News) announced today that the dck/TtEC LLC was one of four contractors awarded a global multiple-award construction (GMAC) contract with the U.S. Navy. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared ceiling value of $900 million, with one base year and four option years. The dck/TtEC LLC combines Tetra Tech’s resources with those of dck worldwide, a global construction company.
The GMAC includes design-build and design-bid-build projects at U.S. Department of Defense installations worldwide. The work may include utilities, waterfront facilities, medical facilities, and energy and water conservation projects, among other projects. Some of the task orders may be used to execute projects under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
