Hamilton Sundstrand Announces Multi-Year Procurement for F-22 Main and Auxiliary Generator Repair Support

PARIS, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Lockheed Martin has awarded Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX - News), a contract for work on a performance based logistics (PBL) program providing military spare parts to support F-22 generator repairs at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
The three-year contract, which includes program management and on site support, represents a potential value of $10.5 million to Hamilton Sundstrand, which supplies parts for repair of the Pratt & Whitney main engine and auxiliary generator.
Hamilton Sundstrand and Lockheed Martin have structured the program to provide detailed parts in a kit that supports the shop technicians making the repairs at the base.
