AIR FORCE

Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems of Sudbury, Mass. was awarded a $107,000,000 contract which will procure one preliminary design for the Space Fence Program. At this time, $20,000,000 has been obligated. ESC/HSIK, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. is the contracting activity. (FA8707-11-C-0004)

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Mission Systems & Sensors of Moorestown, N.J. was awarded a $107,000,000 contract which will procure one preliminary design for the Space Fence Program. At this time, $20,000,000 has been obligated. ESC/HSIK, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. is the contracting activity. (FA8707-11-C-0005)

The Boeing Company of Seal Beach, Calif. was awarded a $12,204,718 contract modification, a GPS IIF Space Vehicle calendar year 2011 option exercise. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. SMC/PKP, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif. is the contracting activity. (FO4701-96-C-0025; PO0750)

ARMY

Textron Marine & Land Systems, Slidell, La., was awarded a $42,480,499 firm-fixed-price contract Jan. 21, 2011. The award will provide for the testing of 23 medium armored security vehicles, as well as 50 vehicles being produced for the Afghanistan National Army. Work will be performed in Slidell, La., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2011. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army TACOM LCMC, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-11-C0114).

Keenan Ft. Detrick Energy, LLC, Columbia, S.C., was awarded a $21,332,954 firm-fixed-price contract Jan. 21, 2011. The award will provide for conditioned electrical, chilled water and steam to the National Interagency Bio-Defense Campus. Work will be performed in Frederick, Md., with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2016. Three bids were solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Fort Detrick, Md., is the contracting activity (W81XWH-06-C-0359).

Phylway Construction, LLC, Thibodaux, La., was awarded a $13,852,340 firm-fixed-price contract Jan. 21, 2011. The award will provide for the construction of a first enlargement of an existing levee at the Westwego to Harvey Canal Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System. Work will be performed in Harvey, Jefferson Parish, La., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 21, 2011. The bid was solicited through the Internet with seven bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-09-D-0046).

Avon Protection Systems, Inc., Cadillac, Mich., was awarded to $10,879,106 fixed-price-incentive contract Jan. 24, 2011. The award will provide for a total of 36,400 M50 masks and 9,000 M51 masks. Work will be performed in Cadillac, Mich., with an estimated completion date of May 15, 2013. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Edgewood Contracting Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W911SR-08-C-0042).

Raytheon Company, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded a $7,802,701 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract Jan. 24, 2011. The award will provide for an Integrated Air and Missile Defense Plug-and-Flight A-Kit Design Definition for the development of future A-Kits that integrate government furnished equipment IAMD B-Kits. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2011. One bid was solicited with one bid received. Science and Engineering Services, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded a $7,663,563 firm-fixed-price contract Jan. 21, 2011. The award will provide for 141Sponson-Mounted Forward Looking Infrared A-kits, 35 Sponson-Mounted Forward Looking Infrared B-kits and 10 Imaging System Support/Purge Kits for the UH-60. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2012. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-09-D-0130).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing Company, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a maximum $29,663,452 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for turbine fuel. Other locations of performance are Texas and Louisiana. Using service is the Defense Logistics Agency Energy. There were originally three proposals solicited with two responses. The date of performance completion is April 30, 2011. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-11-D-0475).

The Boeing Company, Ridley Park, Pa., is being awarded a maximum $11,731,384 firm fixed price, sole source contract for cylinder assemblies. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is the Army. There was originally one proposal solicited with one response. The date of performance completion is January 31, 2015. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (W58RGZ-04-G-0023 order ZB08).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a maximum $6,120,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment, sole source contract for alternating current generators. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is the Army. The date of performance completion is September 28, 2012. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (N00383-06-G-006F order ZB36).

NAVY

Sodexho Management, Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., is receiving a $13,804,729 modification (P00091) to previously awarded firm-fixed-price incentive contract (M00027-02-C-0001) to extend services to provide food services to the Marine Corps and manage and operate their mess halls in the eastern region of the United States for the period of Feb. 1, 2011 through March 31, 2011. The extension is required pending the award of a Request For Proposal number M00027-10-R-0001, for the establishment of a new subsequent contract. This modification does not include any work that is outside the scope of the original contract. Contract year’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (five year base period and three option periods) and the four month extension of services total $638,040,435. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, N.C. (40 percent); Parris Island, S.C. (20 percent); Quantico, Va. (15 percent); Washington D.C. (5 percent); Arlington, Va. (5 percent); Norfolk, Va. (5 percent); Havelock, N.C. (5 percent); and Beaufort, S.C. (5 percent); and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2011. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Regional Contracting Office (Southeast), Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., is the contracting activity.

Canadian Commercial Corporation, General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada, Ontario, Canada, is being awarded a $ 7,887,549 firm fixed priced modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5028) for procurement of 691 window armor upgrade kits for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. Work will be performed in Selma, Ala. (80 percent) and London, Ontario, Canada (20 percent), and work is expected to be completed October 2011. This contract modification was a sole source procurement. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

Hanke Constructors*, Wentzville, Mo, , is being awarded a $7,774,346 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the Naval Operational Support Center training facility at Fort Custer, Battle Creek, Mich. The proposed new construction will consist of a new two story assembly hall, classrooms, medical exam rooms, conference room storage, unit conference counseling, crew’s lounge, administrative areas, recruiting, and parking. Work will be performed in Battle Creek, Mich., and is expected to be completed by January 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively negotiated via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with 16 proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Midwest, Great Lakes, IL, is the contracting activity (N40083-11-C-0010).

Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $6,568,270 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-5101) to procure the secure voice system as part of the Aegis weapon system Aegis modernization upgrades. The secure voice system is for DDG 53, CG 60, CG 62, Surface Combat Systems Center, Aegis Training and Readiness Center, and Integrated Warfare System Laboratory. The modification will increase the value of this contract to $196,462,845. If all options are exercised, the total value of the contract will be $201,034,574. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by October 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $49,700 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.
