CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

GE Healthcare, Wauwatosa, Wis., is being awarded a maximum $43,200,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables, spare/repair parts and training. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were originally 17 proposals solicited with nine responses. This contract is exercising the second option year. The date of performance completion is Jan. 13, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM2D1-09-D-8300).

US Foods International, Inc.*, is being awarded a maximum $42,100,000 firm-fixed-price, partial set-aside contract, for food distribution in the Republic of Korea. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and other federal civilian agencies. The original proposal was Web-solicited with five responses. The date of performance completion is Jan. 31, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-09-D-3310).

Sysco Seattle, Inc., Kent, Wash., is being awarded a maximum $39,000,000 sole-source, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery, bridge extension contract for full line food distribution service. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Navy. The original proposal was Web-solicited with one response. The date of performance completion is Nov. 6, 2011. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-11-D-3441).

Sysco Seattle, Inc., Kent, Wash. is being awarded a maximum $13,150,000 sole-source, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery, bridge extension contract for full line food distribution services. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. The original proposal was Web-solicited with one response. The date of performance completion is Nov. 6, 2011. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-11-D-3439).

NAVY

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $20,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-2109) for engineering and technical design services to support research and development (R&D) of advanced submarine technologies for current and future submarine platforms. Advanced submarine R&D includes studies to support the manufacturability, maintainability, producibility, reliability, manning, survivability, hull integrity, performance, structural, weight/margin, stability, arrangements, machinery systems, acoustics, hydrodynamics, ship control, logistics, human factors, materials, weapons handling and stowage, submarine safety, and affordability. Development and design of advanced submarine R&D technologies include integration/incorporation of technologies for tests/deployment of onboard advanced development models and engineering test platforms on designated R&D test platform(s) and current and future submarine platforms; fabrication of advanced engineering development models and prototypes required to demonstrate proof-of-concepts; and engineering design, technical assessment, systems integration, and configuration management and control services to support large scale vehicle test platforms. The program also supports near term insertion of Virginia-class technology; identification of Ohio-class replacement technology options; future submarine concepts; and core technologies. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by October 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, Marietta, Ga., was awarded a $13,258,743 contract modification which will exercise an option to purchase support equipment and spares for the United States and Norway. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. ASC/WLNNC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-06-C-6456).

General Electric Aviation, Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded a $11,813,560 contract modification which will acquire newly redesigned aging engine upgrade components, initial provisioning spares, and new technical data to support the service life extension and aging engine upgrade initiatives applicable to the F110-GE-100/-129 engine; F-16 aircraft. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. 448 SCMG/PKBC, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8104-05-C-0053-PO0022).

SRI International, Menlo Park, Calif., was awarded a $9,964,563 contract modification which will develop software capabilities to provide an enhanced military command and control capability that incorporates system state and operational requirements planning and execution management into a single enhanced capability. At this time, $161,301 has been obligated. Air Force Research Laboratory/RIKD, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (FA8750-11-C-0052).
