Live Demonstrations Available at Booth 5134 and 3061
IWCE attendees will be able to witness production versions of Raytheon P25net and PlantCML's COR(P25) radio systems communicating during the first tradeshow appearance of Raytheon's Mobile Civil Communications Solutions vehicle. First responders are invited to bring their own radios for the best test of how they communicate with other radios on another system or frequency.
In addition to the P25 product demonstrations, Raytheon's 53 foot long trailer will also showcase PlantCML's industry-leading emergency call processing solution, VESTA, as well as the MapStar scalable mapping solution, and the GeoCastWeb web-based secure, map-based notification system. Live demonstrations will showcase the GeoCastWeb system which offers secure, map-based notifications that can be launched from virtually any location.
"This mobile demonstration vehicle is an ideal opportunity to view multiple public safety solutions in a single location," said Darrin J. Reilly, chief operating officer, PlantCML. "As the industry leader in full-circle security and communications relative to public safety, we invite you to experience our suite of solutions firsthand. From CTI-based call processing platforms to emergency notification technology to P25 digital trunked radio, PlantCML proudly continues to offer solutions and services designed to streamline communications, expedite response and ultimately, save lives."
The mobile demonstration offers a hands-on, high-tech experience allowing public safety professionals to experience for themselves how a variety of mission-critical solutions work in various rescue scenarios. The experience features an array of open architecture solutions, all of which allow users who operate on different types and frequencies of legacy communications networks to communicate locally and regionally, or in systems that span the United States.
"The radio demonstrations will illustrate the interoperability and flexibility of our P25 technology," said Steve Shanck, PlantCML General Manager for COR(P25) radio network solutions. "Our open standard IP-based digital P25 public safety radio enables public safety professionals to choose other solution components from its preferred partners as well as other P25-certified terminals and applications."
