Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Introduction of Aeroglide Surfacing Film Product Line for Aircraft Composite Parts Fabrication


Defense News ~ MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE: PKE - News) announced the introduction of its new Aeroglide™ surfacing film product line for aircraft composite parts fabrication. Aeroglide™ surfacing film is available globally.

Aeroglide™ surfacing film is designed to improve the surface finish of aircraft composite parts and reduce or eliminate secondary surface finishing operations prior to painting. Aeroglide™ surfacing film is compatible with most epoxy prepregs, including many of Park’s advanced composite material products. Aeroglide™ surfacing film is designed for processing with 250°F or 350°F cure epoxy prepregs in autoclave and oven applications.
