OSI Systems Announces Appointment of New Board Member

Defense News: HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSIS - News), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronics and services, today announced that following its recent Annual Shareholders Meeting, Dr. David T. Feinberg, Chief Executive Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor of the UCLA Hospital System, has been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors. The appointment follows the retirement of Dr. Chand R. Visanathan who had served as a Director of the Company since 2001.

Dr. Feinberg, prior to his current role as CEO and Associate Vice Chancellor of the UCLA Medical System was the Medical Director of the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital (NPH) at UCLA. Dr. Feinberg graduated cum laude in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with distinction from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. He earned his master of business administration from Pepperdine University in 2002.
