The International Aero Engines consortium groups Pratt & Whitney (UTX.N) together with Rolls-Royce (RR.L), MTU Aero Engines (MTXGn.DE) of Germany and a trio of Japanese heavy engineering companies.
The announcement by the airshow organisers said the deal consisted of $1.5 billion for the engines and $2.0 billion for a long-term service agreement.
