SAIC Awarded $26 Million Task Order By Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Dahlgren Division

Company to Support NSWC Dam Neck Interoperability and Integration Combat System Test Efforts

SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI - News) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Dahlgren Division to provide NSWC Dam Neck with engineering, technical, and management services. The follow-on task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total value of more than $26 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Virginia Beach, Va. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command SeaPort-e contract.
NSWC Dam Neck, a field activity of Naval Sea Systems Command, arms warfighters with innovative capabilities by delivering force-level integrated and interoperable engineering solutions, mission critical control systems, and associated tested and training technologies which meet the requirements of the maritime, joint, special warfare and information operation domains. Under the task order, SAIC will continue providing specialized analytic, programmatic, technical and engineering services to support interoperability and integration test efforts for combat systems across the surface Navy enterprise.
