Booz Allen Hamilton, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $44,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for readiness and metrics support for the fleet readiness enterprise and warfare enterprises. Work will be performed in various locations in the continental United States, and is expected to be completed January 2011. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the fiscal year. This contract was competitively awarded through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online and Federal Business Opportunities websites, with three offers received. Progeny Systems Corp.*, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $9,475,409 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for the development and modification of client server applications that provide access to non-propulsion electronic systems on USS Virginia class submarines and various commercial off-the-shelf subsystems. This requirement includes the establishment of a “fly away” team and associated equipment to support the required timely service worldwide. This one-year contract includes four one-year options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to a potential $49,904,517. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va. (50 percent), and Groton, Conn. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed Oct. 14, 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured as this award constitutes a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program Phase III follow-on effort to continue development of subsystems developed under Phase II. This award is derived from and extends efforts performed under prior SBIR funding agreements and is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) or 41 U.S.C. 253(b)(2).
