PARIS, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Sikorsky Global Helicopters, Sikorsky Aircraft's recently rebranded business unit responsible for contract execution and delivery of S-76® and S-92® helicopter models, has opened a world-class facility custom-designed for customers as they take final delivery of their helicopters. Sikorsky Aircraft is a subsidiary of Housed in a new 61,000-square-foot building located in Coatesville, Penn., the facility will serve as the Flight Test Hangar & Customer Delivery Center. The state-of-the-art structure incorporates three partial floors of administrative space along with dedicated hangar space for up to eight aircraft.
"The Sikorsky Aircraft strategic vision and our strong growth pattern prompted us to realign our commercial business operations, and the needs of the customer are the highest priority," said Marc Poland, Vice President, Sikorsky Global Helicopters. "This new delivery center was designed with the customer in mind to achieve one overarching goal: to provide them with a world-class experience right through the delivery of their aircraft."
The new facility is designed to provide exceptional customer service, with an individual suite for each customer, private conference rooms, a business center, kitchen area and lounge. Customers have secure, badge-controlled access to their assigned hangar to inspect their aircraft as it is presented for delivery.
The program manager for each customer will work with the delivery center manager to assure an exceptional delivery experience.

In designing the delivery center, Sikorsky sought feedback from customers who previously have taken delivery of its products. Many of these also are customers of fixed-wing OEMs and were used to benchmark world-class delivery experiences.
