MDFPs Deploy to Turkey and Greece; Defenshield President Returns to Iraq

INCIRLIK, Turkey, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Air Base at Incirlik Turkey has issued an order for 14 Defenshield Mobile Defensive Fighting Positions (MDFPs) to be used at entry control points throughout the base. Units will be fitted with Bridgeport accessories to allow the MDFPs to be used in conjoined pairs, providing greater protection and visibility for checkpoint and overwatch personnel. Delivery is expected in November.

MDFPs are deployed globally at military bases and police departments throughout the United States, Mexico and the U.K. The Mexican Federal Police have purchased 4 units for use in drug interdiction programs along the U.S. border. The U.S. Consulate in Greece also recently installed an MDFP at their location in Thessaloniki. Over 900 MDFPs are deployed in the Middle Eastern Region in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and now Turkey.
Mr. White will return to Iraq later this month after meetings earlier in the year with several Iraqi ministers regarding the equipment needs of the Iraqi Army as it establishes its own public security infrastructure.
